RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To identify condom use and drug consumption in migrants, as well as the association between these variables. METHOD: A systematic search was carried out for articles published in Spanish and English (2017-2022), in PubMed, EBSCO, WEB of SCIENCE, Elsevier, Scielo, Redalyc, with eligible studies reporting on condom use and drug consumption, and their association. RESULTS: The search strategy found 147 articles with the combination of terms and other sources. After excluding articles by title, abstract, and finding that they had the study variables, eight articles were included for qualitative analysis and only three met the criteria for quantitative analysis. CONCLUSION: Drug consumption favors inconsistent condom use, increasing the risk of acquiring an STI, and can lead to other mental health issues derived from the use of these substances.

Abstract: Objective: Of this study is to analyze the psychometric properties of the brief sexual opinion scale in the migrant population. Materials and methods: The sample consisted of 175 people who migrate, to measure Erotophobia-erotophilia, the sexual opinion scale was used, to examine the construct validity, the scale was adapted to a colloquial language, 62 volunteers participated to read and Express if they understood each of the questions. Subsequently, the internal and external validity of the SOS was analyzed. The participants were selected from the population of migrants through non-probabilistic sampling, for convenience. Results: 85.4% were men, mostly from Mexico (84.7%). For internal validation, Cronbach's alpha .763 was obtained, it presents a unidimensional structure, with respect to convergent validity it was correlated with sexual assertiveness. Conclusions: The measurements obtained in the SOS in its brief version of 6 items have shown weak internal consistency values, it presents a one-dimensional structure in a sample of migrants, the scale has shown to be stable in different countries such as Spain, Colombia and El Salvador.

OBJECTIVE: to determine which are the Nursing interventions that will improve treatment compliance in Type 2 diabetes, and to describe the Nursing interventions that have been implemented indifferent countries. METHOD: search strategy: A bibliographic search was conducted in the following databases: Scielo, Lilacs, Medigraphic, Pubmed, Redalyc and Academic Google. The Medline Thesaurus (MeSH) was used, as well as its Spanish version (DesCS). The inclusion criteria were: quasi-experimental or experimental study with interventions conducted by the Nursing staff with the aim to increase treatment compliance on adult study subjects. Exclusion criteria: To combine therapeutic compliance with some type of addiction. RESULTS: a total of 4,582 documents were found, and 18 articles were selected out of these (three experimental studies, 13 quasi experimental studies, and two controlled and randomized clinical trials). The interventions were mostly of educational nature; some of them combined the application of structured educational programs with follow-up by phone. In those interventions conducted at short term, eight out of the 18 interventions showed an effect upon compliance. For long-term interventions, six out of the 18 interventions were associated with moderately significant improvements in compliance; those which were effective for care were complex. CONCLUSIONS: nursing interventions in order to increase therapeutic compliance in diabetes directed by nurses were associated with glycemic control and, therefore, treatment compliance. None of the interventions involved relatives in diabetic patient care
